ABOUT SELECT TEAMS (11V11)

Our U13–U19 Select teams compete across multiple national and state platforms, with each team placed in the league that best matches its competitive level. Tryouts in May determine team placement for the upcoming season, which runs August through May.

Top boys teams (U13–U19) compete in the National Academy League (NAL), a club-based platform connected to the MLS NEXT pathway. Top boys and girls teams that qualify are placed in the National 1 League, the highest team-based competition in the country. All remaining Select teams, including our second teams, compete in the South Carolina Premier Alliance to ensure the right competitive environment for every player.

Coached by our licensed and paid coaching staff, Select teams train three times per week, compete in 8–10 mandatory league games, and attend 2–3 tournaments each season (Fall/Spring). Positions on Select teams are year-long commitments for the full 10-month season.

Older Select teams (U15–U19) do not train or compete during the high school soccer season, which takes place in the Spring for both boys and girls. These teams begin training in August and conclude their season in January, depending on Showcase schedules. This creates a six-month competitive season, and the club fees reflect this adjusted timeline.
