ABOUT SELECT ACADEMY
Our Select Academy teams compete in the Carolina Premier League (CPL) and are placed in divisions that best match each team’s competitive level, tryouts in May structure the teams for the next season which runs August to April.
Coached by our licensed and paid coaching staff, Select Academy teams are the club’s 7v7 and 9v9 teams who train 3 times a week, compete in 8-10 mandatory League games and have the option to attend 2-3 tournaments throughout each season (Fall/Spring). Positions on the Select Academy team are year-long commitments for the 9 month season.

League Schedules can be accessed through the Carolina Premier League website, or through your PlayMetrics account by clicking on your Team and Schedules.
Tournament invitations are sent out approximately 45 days prior to each tournament.

FIELD LOCATIONS
Coast FA has Select Academy teams in both Horry and Georgetown County. Every effort is made to create Select Academy teams at Socastee Park and Stables Park for players interested in making the move to Select Soccer.
